This conversation is quite old, but still new in it's content. KD's main focus was money, but in the process we went to many places and had lots of fun. I have been meaning to share it for a while - so here it is.
What is the best way to ignore the bills lining up? I can change my vibration to a better vibration, but under these circumstances it is challenging. I can imagine that people with more than enough money can do that easier.
Even writing this mail to you, I am thinking: Oh oh, you're staying more than 17 seconds in this negative vibration. I feel that it is so much easier (by virtue of our physical reality) to have negative emotions than positive emotions.
How do you deal with this?

Hello Zehra, I have been listening to Abraham Hicks since January this year. As such I have heard and know a lot. Really. While writing the previous mail, my attention was drawn to one of the video clips: ask and it is given. I had listened to it several times and have even bought the book. But as sometimes is the case, we think that we have listened and understood, while that was not really the case. After writing you the previous mail, I replayed and listened and I "heard" it better this time.
My problem when offering or changing vibrations, was always our so called "real physical world" which sometimes pulled me back to negative vibrations. Thinking or saying: I have more than enough money, or I have millions of dollars, while my bank account's state shows totally something different, was a bit confusing sometimes.
In this video clip, Abraham is explaining why we feel the way we do, that we all are vibrational beings, that our larger part is non-physical, but it is ME. I am always non physical. Sometimes a part is focused in this physical body: BUT WE ARE ALWAYS NON PHYSICAL. The Non physical part has been around way longer. As such when I launch a rocket of desire and the non physical expands........, the Non-physical becomes that wealthy being. That means that I am expanding....that I become that wealthy being, because the non-physical is nothing else than my larger part. This has lightened me up very much - it really helps.
When I desire for example more money, being able to attend the Cancun Land Cruise, stay in the Presidential Suite and have a marvelous time...my non physical is having all that. That means that I am having all that. As such I can say without thinking I am lieing to myself: I do have millions of dollars and I am attending the Cancun Land cruise, staying in the Presidential Suite and enjoying Abraham Hicks for a whole week in person!
I have decided to think this way and will do my utmost to keep it up. I will send you a postcard from Cancun.....or are you coming too? Big hug, KD
ME: We all fall out of alignment and that too is perfect because contrast is essential to the enjoyment of life. In the meanwhile, I have something to share with you. Last night I dreamt of a childhood friend I grew up with, but since the last 4 years we have not been on speaking terms. Last night I dreamt of her and I decided to call her a while ago, to see whether everything was ok.
It was a very good reunion via telephone and everything was ok. Then she started telling me about her experiences with her employer with regard to some amount of money that she was entitled to. Long story short, it was about a regulation I didn’t know about. Never heard of it. Easily put, her case is applicable to me too. Meaning that in 2 years time, I will receive a nice lump sum of money from the government! Can you imagine! I chilled and my grid starts filling in. In appreciation, KD
ME: Hello KD - You seem to be so well on your way - I am so happy! This is fantastic.
As for my own experience - I had trained myself out of connecting with my emotions over the past many years. Then I heard Abraham and I believed that if I wanted it - it would appear, so I kept spending when I really should have stopped, and ignored the voice within that was telling me that it did not feel good. I got to rock bottom and turned around, and the thing that helped me most was to believe in Abraham's words and start listening to my inner being. Side by side I used one of the processes for debt reduction in the Ask and It is Given book and it has been absolutely phenomenal - I could not have imagined how fast it would work. Third and last thing I have done is to start feeling love. When you start being a real "lover" everything changes. Now, when I hug one of my children, I "feel" the love, a very warm feeling. I close my eyes and imagine them when they were only one or two years old, pure and cute and loveable, and I hug that child - I leave behind all the history of what has happened between now and their growing up. I try to do the same thing with people - send them love consciously. The process that has helped me to do this is called Segment intending and pre-paving. When I pick up the phone to call, I set my intention for the conversation. When I get in the car I pray to get to where I am going on time and safe and wish safety for everyone on the road. When I get to work, I sit in the car for a few minutes and bless the fact that I have work that I enjoy and nice people who are trying to do their best to co-create with - all of this has changed my life and made me a much calmer and relaxed individual. The best thing is that I am beginning to love myself too and not be hard on myself like I used to. If any of this resonates with you please go ahead and take what you need.

I will go home early today to re-read some of the processes. I am a very impatient person at times and as such just went over them cursorily, asking myself if I really had to take all that trouble, just to feel good. I have gone over the processes and the only ones which attracted me, because they felt like I could manage easily, were the appreciation process and filling your box with things you want. I have only done the appreciation process so far. I love to appreciate.
I will look at the one regarding debt reduction. Is that the one where you put your debts in columns from left to right and then decide to pay of the minimum debt twice, if possible? I will also re-look at the segment intending process. When I first read it, it sounded like too much too do. But the way you described it, it sounded quite beautiful and relaxing. ME: yes, you have the right process in mind - I did it a little differently. I still do it as I am now working on paying off my mortgage.
I do a page each month for all my debts as well as other expenses, and I can look back to see what the balance was before and what it is now. It's really simple and it does work like a charm. From absolute fear about collecting my mail I now look forward to the bills and feel good knowing that I have paid them. I also started to appreciate paying my bills - I actually end my online banking session saying how much I appreciate that I was able to make good on all my commitments. If you enjoy appreciating then try this next time you buy something or pay for something - like when I go to get petrol for my car, I thank the fact that I can pay for it.
Appreciation really is a very powerful tool and it is the key to pre-paving and segment intending.
Really all you are doing is to send appreciation to the people you are going to interact with and set your intention for what you want to have happen. If nothing else, it is nice to say, I want this interaction to benefit all parties concerned, and leave it for the universe to figure it out. As you say the words then in time you will notice that you actually feel a warm loving feeling within and your heart just opens as you understand that everyone around you is trying to do their best to feel better to get something that they want - we are all the same. KD: Hello Zehra, Wow, Abraham's teachings are really wonderful and I appreciate that I was put in their path, however sometimes this is not easy at all. A couple of days ago, in a certain situation, I even got frustrated, irritated and angry with the Vortex, Abraham and everything. Then I had to laugh about my anger, and it was cleared. I sometimes think that this seems so easy when you hear it, so logical, so cooling and relaxing, but it can be oh so not easy to keep positive and loving the whole day. I know that we have to be constantly thinking of and focusing on where I want to be and who I really am, which is all very wonderful but in a given moment, it is hard. I even thought that this is much easier for really rich people, or better: financially independent people. They don't have the financial worries others have. Then I thought, but they might have other worries, which boils down to the same for them also. And this made me feel better. Ufff....
Two questions; 1. These days I am in expectation of something wonderful, which as my best friend expressed it: "against all odds is still in the queue". My question awaiting the final conclusion in this matter is, can I pick up the phone to know what is happening and maybe push it a bit in my direction with words to help my cause, or is that not allowed, because it is considered action and even a bit of manipulation? I know that this is my chance to let my vibrations do the work and I cannot doubt...Even writing this makes me a bit nervous that maybe I am expressing something negative. In any case, I have decided to wait it out, but it is oh so nerve wrecking. I really have to talk to myself the whole day saying that everything always works out for me. Hahahahahaha. I have also started Scripting. It relaxes me. Walking also gives me inspiration and I always feel in the Vortex when I walk. Even though going home in the car with my partner, I may sometimes get a bit angry for his driving style. And then angry that I was taken out of the Vortex. Etc. etc. etc. Unbelievable.
2. When I have meditated, or walked as mentioned above, and think I have been in the Vortex and I afterwards for some reason or other get angry with someone, does that break the whole positive vibration I had during my meditation and do I need to start all over again?

ME: My Dearest Friend, It may sound strange to you, but I know that you will totally understand that I am so happy to hear of your experience! when I went through the same sort of experience as yourself, my thoughts were exactly the same as yours. It is good to know that we all go through the same steps. As long as you don't keep looking back, you will make progress.
If you pick up the phone you will be filling in the grid rather than letting the grid fill in. Don't pick up the phone to help the process along, because the universe does not need your help. Pick up the phone when you have an urge that you must absolutely do so. When you feel this way stop only for two seconds to ask yourself if your urge to act is inspired "am I filling in the grid or letting the grid fill in?"
I know that when you start understanding the concept of the vortex, you want to stay in there all the time and never come out in order to hasten the process of getting to the things you want - but stop for a second and think about it - isn't that a way of keeping score, and so doesn't it defeat the purpose?
I get angry too, and so does everyone else. The thing to do is to say to yourself - humm...I am having a step one moment about this thing/person that has made me angry - but I really don't need to put more into my vortex on this subject (or, I'm glad I've added further clarity to my desires) and now it is time for me to go back into the vortex. I know that I can get back in I have done it before, and every time I do it, it gets easier, my life really is pretty good, and I know in my heart that Abraham is right. I think I will give up trying to control my life and ask for ease and flow. I want ease and flow. I like the feeling of feeling ease and flow. I like living my life from inside the vortex...get the drift? this sort of talk will take you into a rampage of appreciation and pretty soon you will be in the vortex - and Oh yes! breathe - take a couple of deep breaths - our breath is our connection to Source at the very basic level.
There is much love here for you - I know you are on the journey and you are making progress - I can see your progress even though you can't see it just now, and that is because I have made the journey myself. I can tell you that you are doing very well.
With great love I offer you the suggestion to not look too far into the future, because the future is an ever changing thing. Look only at today - look only at getting through one day at a time - say to yourself, I only have to make it through this one day, and so my objective for this is "today no matter where I am going, no matter what I am doing, no matter who I am doing it with, it is my dominant intent to look for things that feel good. When I feel good I am vibrating with my higher power, when I feel good I am in harmony with that which I consider to be good, when I feel good I am in the mode of attracting that which will please me when it gets here and when I feel good, I feel good." This little prayer is offered by Abraham in the book "Money and the Law of Attraction". Use the processes regularly - I put the morning intention on my phone and listened to it many times in the day when I first heard it and I still repeat it every morning.
KD: Hello Zehra, Thank you for a beautiful letter or mail. Before I received it, my curiosity got the better part of me and I asked my secretary to call the secretary of the person who should have given me a call since yesterday, to ask her whether she had given her boss my message. My secretary just called me to inform me that the other secretary told her that yes, since yesterday she gave her boss my message and that she had reminded him this morning. However at the moment he is travelling and will not be back until Wednesday!!!
For me this was the sign, to let go. In a way I am glad it has gone like this. I will now leave it alone and leave it to the Universe. What will be, will be. I was too impatient, while at the same time doubting whether it would be a yes or no. And I hated that feeling. In any case I am alive, healthy, I have a roof over my head, food in the refrigerator, a beautiful car, a great partner, a nice view from the appartment, later we will be going to sit on a nice terrace with a view over the harbour and the other side of the harbour with beautiful coloured colonial houses, watching ships enter and leave, while listening to a small live band playing and as such, TODAY I am excellent, happy, joyful and wanting to have a lot of fun. So I am fine and will become finer in a couple of minutes. I know that. You know, I have heard Abraham say a couple of times, that taking so called quantum emotional leaps is difficult etc. etc. May be so, but whenever I want (I have discoverd and love knowing it) I can go from red hot anger (no. 17) to feeling irritation (no. 10) to enthusiasm (no.3) to JOY. How do I do it? For example I just remember my holidays, sitting on the beach eating fried red snappers and drinking really ice cold beer, looking at the sea, talking with my friends, laughing about all kinds of nonsense and just enjoying life. Or I think of our past New Years where my partner was dancing (very terrible dancer!) with his sister and I was just laughing seeing the effort he was putting in it. I just think about memories like that and whammm I am smiling and enjoying and laughing and I am back to happiness.

ME: Hi KD, I am smiling thinking of your journey - you are doing very well my friend. In fact, you have made really quick progress, and I think it is because of your desire to learn and grow. I am so happy for you. Doubt and irritation and anger are all part of the journey - it is good to feel the emotion, because you know that your guidance system is working. Sometimes I talk to people who have lost that connection and don't know how they're feeling and then they make it worse by repeating over and over again what they do not want. You are well on your way and your life is just going to keep getting better and better, because now you know what to do when you do fall out of the vortex and you will get back in with ease.

KD: When you receive bills or phone calls from creditors regarding late or no payments....what do you say to yourself to be able to celebrate the presence of your desire? I can easily feel my desire when the end of the month is far, however when it has arrived it is a bit more difficult. How do you think beyond what is at that moment?
My solution was to think: All is well, Everything always works out for me....however the creditor is on the phone....
ME: I was there just two years ago myself. I started using Abraham's processes for reducing debt from the Ask and it is Given Book. Really there are four things to do:
2. Have a strategy to deal with the situation (use the processes from the book) - the right solution for you will make it's self obvious and all you have to do is to act on it.
3. Soothe yourself with positive words (you are already doing this)
4. Don't focus there - when the close of the month draws near - stop thinking about it. That is the time when you have already fallen out of the air craft without a parachute, so there is momentum and you cannot buck the momentum in that phase of the month. So just say to yourself - it is what it is and this too shall pass - things always work out for me, and I am doing all that I can, the rest is up to the universe. I know improvement is on it's way and while it is coming, I will not think about it, I will allow the universe to do it's work. I can choose where to put my focus and I choose to think thoughts that feel good - as Abraham would say ... "squirrel"
I know that when you are going downstream, you are going where all your dreams, wishes, desires, good outcomes, answers, etc. are. That it is your Inner Being calling you towards it. Your Inner Being is your Vortex. That means that when going down stream I am going to my Vortex. Is the flowing downstream one of the ways to enter the Vortex? So does that mean that when I am in the Vortex is when I have reached downstream? It is a bit confusing. Because I had the feeling that going down stream is already being in the Vortex and when you reach downstream is when you are aligned with your Vortex so that manifestations may occur?
If entering the Vortex means having arrived downstream, where your expanded Inner Being (being the Vortex), has been calling you toward it is, how do I align then to be able to manifest? Or does alignment mean that I am in the Vortex?
So does entering the Vortex mean having arrived downstream? Or are you in the Vortex while going downstream. I don't think it is this second option. The book states that when you desire, your Inner Being expands and starts calling you toward it. That means you are going downstream to your Inner Being. So when I feel I am in the Vortex, that means that I have arrived downstream.
I now remember that Abraham said that you could enter the Vortex whichever way you wanted. Does that mean that by using the Stream analogy is a way to enter the Vortex?. At first I thought I had to enter the Vortex for example by meditation, then when I am in the Vortex, to align with my desires present there, I needed to conjure up the down flowing Stream, get aligned by flowing downward, (the delicious feeling I got from floating downstream I thought was being aligned with my desires) and that afterward manifestation would come in perfect timing, order, blending and joy. What a mix up!
But as I see it now, flowing downstream is one of the ways to enter the Vortex; so does being in the Vortex mean that you are already aligned? And that to manifest, while now being in the Vortex I need to find the essence of the feeling of my desires? For example if I wanted more money, after I have arrived downstream and am in the Vortex, what do I need to do? Do I need to think of the essence of having plenty money? What do I need to do for manifestations to occur? I am remembering several video clips where Abraham have some participants mentioning the essence of the feeling of having plenty money. What is that proces? I had thought that when in the Vortex, you needed to do that with all your desires. For example spend a minimum of 68 seconds finding the essence of plenty money, then at least 68 seconds finding the essence of a beautiful house, then 68 seconds finding the essence of attending the Land Cruise Workshop in Cancun, etc. etc. etc. For example for the essence of plenty money: elation....well being....peace of mind....choices....And that if you did this in the correct way....plenty money would manifest itself. I am now getting the feeling that this was not what was meant...
Totally confused at the moment and hoping you can help me out of this!!! So I need to know the relation between going downstream, the Vortex and manifestation. Appreciate some clarity in this matter. KD

Manifestations do not commence immediately - although they could. There is a buffer of time and also you need to stay in the vibration of the vortex for longer periods - the more time you spend there the more ease and flow you experience - and that is the movement of your stream which flows into the vortex and from the other end it comes out into the grid and that is when you get the physical manifestation.
There is no one way to enter the vortex - there are many ways - there are times when I like listening to music and other times when I like to just go for a walk or stare at clouds or water and then I know I am in the vortex.
There is a video clip called the vibration of abundance – you should listen to it. The process for creating a vibrational shift is focus wheeling and rampaging. If you get into the vortex for the sake of the manifestation this will lead you to keep looking for the manifestation and that creates resistance - you must trust that you are on your way and stop keeping an eye out for the manifestation and then everything will work out for you.
You are getting this at some level I know - it will all fall into place for you, because your desire to understand is so great. I have not met anyone whose desire to understand was as big as yours. Much love, Zehra

A couple of months ago, on a Sunday morning, a Walking Club organized a walk for its members, on a route I always walk. During that walk, 3 persons were hit by a car and killed. The three victims were each known for being very likeable positive persons.
My question was: were all of the victims thinking negative thoughts when this happened? Especially because Abrahams clip: Every moment is new grid, states that what happened in the past is not relevant, and that our point of attraction, our grid, changes constantly. What is important is how we feel NOW. So that is why I was asking myself if when the 3 walkers were killed, if at that precise moment they were thinking negative thoughts...
I read your book and understood, looking at the examples of Jeannie, Frank and your father that over the years we accumulate negativities via all kinds of ways. And that one day these negativities can find a weak spot and BAMM! Is this because the persons involved never had any positive thoughts? I would appreciate knowing how this relates to: "every moment is new grid".
If possible I would really appreciate some clarity on this point. KD
ME: Hi Kenneth, When you start living life from the top of the emotional scale, it doesn't matter any more what you have thought in the past, all those negative things become latent and inactive as you never focus on them any more and then with time they go away and new positive beliefs replace them. Your weak spots are easy to remove, because you generally know what they are and therefore you can focus wheel them away - but even if you didn't it wouldn't matter when you start living life in Step 4. When you live life on a high flying disc, contrast seems easy and you are not accumulating any new resistance, so your weak spots don't really matter. Eventually, the momentum of being on a high flying disc fixes everything. So you see, it all comes together.

KD: Hello Zehra, While pondering the question, I came about the below attached Abraham clip, in which I learned something new:
I always thought there was only one Vortex with all our vibrational desires, wants and needs. A positive Vortex. However in this clip I now have heard that there are several Vortices. Vibrational versions of all things we have been thinking about (for example lack of money, lack of health, lack of other things...).
As such when we are fearful, for example, we can tap in on one of those negative vortices if we maintain the thought for more than 17 seconds.
Meaning that the 3 victims one way or the other, at the moment they croaked, had tapped in on one of their negative vortices...with a certain negative thought that gained momentum and resulted in their re-emergence into non physical. KD

The thing about observing other people's lives is that you do not have access to their thoughts and how they felt about them. Nothing negative comes to people who think consistently positive thoughts. That is what I teach in my coaching program - I teach people how to think their thought. Most of us think we are positive, but the results that we achieve in our lives are the real proof of how we are thinking our thoughts - that is the way it is every time.
