You perceive the creation process as "you do this" and "something else does that" because you have been convinced, by others, that "this is the way".
It is not the way. It is not anything like the way. But let us describe it from that perspective...
It appears you have to "work for" and "earn" things only because you "reach for" work or for the "proper" way to "earn" what you want - i.e. you "ask" for something you don't necessarily want because you believe it is necessary to get what you want and THEN you reach for what you want, directly.
You often hear Abraham speak of "What do you want? and "Why do you want it?" but no one seems to ask about the second question, so they say it, over and over and over again. Which usually means something isn't being understood.
Why you want something is important because your answer to the "Why?" will tell you if you are answering the first question, accurately. If you want "a better job" because the job you have is "no fun", then "a better job" is NOT what you want. What you want is "fun". So when you "reach" for a "better job" you are "reaching" for something that you believe may deliver what you want, if you "do" it right, which is another job, rather than simply reaching for what you want, which is "fun" and letting the only deliverer there is, anywhere - the universe - deliver it.
You can't be "on the way" somewhere and "there", at the same time. When you reach to "seek", regardless of what you are seeking, there is only one way to satisfy such asking and that is to "hide" what you want, so you can "seek" it. You "reach" to "seek", the universe delivers exactly what you reach for. Same when you seek to "earn" - you can't "earn" something and "have" it at the same time.
It appears you must "seek to find" and "earn to get" because you've been told that, over and over again. But all that is happening is that you are reaching to "seek" or "earn" for however long someone has convinced you that you must, before you stop and reach for what you really want. When you decide you've "worked" or "sought" or "earned" enough, then you "reach" for what you really want. So the "getting" appears to come from the "seeking" because you believed and reached for the "seeking", before you reached for what you wanted which may be how you believe it works, but isn't how it actually works.
Don't reach for "ways" to get what you want. There is only one way to get what you want and that is to reach for it. To get what you want, without having to "work for it" or "earn it", stop reaching for "work" and "deserving" and reach for what you want, directly.
The only way to get what you want is to "reach" for it. You can reach to "earn", for a while, if you like, but why? If you truly understand that you need not "earn" what you want, why would you reach for "earning" at all? Why would you deliberately ask the universe to withhold what you want, from you? Some may say "for the anticipation", but if you reach, reach, reach, then that anticipation is short and sweet and constant. One after another. It is a matter of speed. There is no end so you can go as fast as you like. Anticipation is the result of "doubt" and you don't enjoy it, fully, until it's over. When you know "delivered", anticipation becomes pure joy and appreciation.
Answer Abraham's second question and then ask yourself the first question, again.
This is basically the same thing, said over and over, in different ways, to help with understanding. So, now you know. Now you can "reach" and know delivery is imminent and keep moving and reaching as the universe is delivering, over and over. That's what it does, all day, everyday and very rapidly, moment by moment. Skipping the time spent "working" and "earning" will take a lot of the friction - the "road rash", so to speak - out of moving fast and will make "keeping up with yourself" a whole lot easier.
The universe has a profound affinity for "desire" and satisfaction. So much so that "misery" and "not getting what one wants" requires a huge amount of effort to maintain. Life is the act of reaching. If the universe did not "deliver" what is reached for, nothing would reach and life would not exist. You reach. For what? For more life - for more to reach for. The subatomic particles in your fingernail, reach. They come and go, quite quickly. When they move on to reach for more, there are others reaching for the "more" of that experience to replace them.
Reach and deliver, reach and deliver. That is life. Even if one is so "down" in one's experience as to only reach for continuation. The universe delivers. Mightily. A beating heart, another breath, sparking synapses, the continuation of life as experience through a body.
Observe what you reach for and marvel at how your magnificent universe delivers.
