Pre-paving or segment intending is a process offered by Abraham in the book Ask & it is Given, and The Law of Attraction. Pre-paving is simply thinking of the outcome you desire from a segment of time in which you are engaging in an activity or co-creating with another.
Pre-paving adds momentum to the outcome you desire so that as you enter a segment of time your momentum prevails upon the momentum of the intentions set forth by others.
This particular pre-paving statement is one that I have used everyday since it was first given by Abraham in the book Money and the Law of Attraction. It has served me well. You can also find the full audio version on YouTube.
The transcript of the processes for morning and night time segment intending or pre-paving in this video are available at the Abraham Hicks Book Study Club on Facebook. If you do not have Facebook, you may write to me for a copy of the transcript.
The law attraction basically says that like vibrations attract. It is a law because it applies to every particle of the universe.
We are all equipped with an emotional guidance system that tells us how we are feeling. The way we feel is a gauge of how we are vibrating, and it brings us things, people, events and results of like vibration.
When we are happy, we attract happy people. When we are dissatisfied we attract results that lead to further dissatisfaction.
In other words, our only work is to find something to be happy about in each segment of our day and if we could just do that then the universe would do the rest.
Appreciation is the key to using the law of attraction to improve our lives. It starts with appreciating where we are in life today, where ever that is, even if it isn't where we want to be. Because unless you are happy where you are you can't really allow where you want to be into your life. That's because when we are in a place that we do not want to be, we are thinking about how much we dislike it - we get more of what we dislike. Law of expansion is like a magnifying glass that magnifies what ever you think about.
