You're stuck in a funk. Nothing seems to be working.

Being a good student of LOA, you try to appreciate, but you can't feel it strongly. You can't seem to build positive momentum at all.

What do you do?

I found a quick and easy way to gain positive momentum. It can potentially take less than 5 minutes, and can be done quickly and easily every day.

The trick is to set yourself an easily achievable task that can be done quickly, in less than 5 minutes. Ideally the easier and quicker it is, the better.
For example, I had always wanted to read a specific book on creating habits, but could never get around to doing it.
Then, a few days ago, I put a task on my to-do list: Read the book for just 5 minutes.
That was literally it.
Then, on the next day, I saw it on my to-do list. I thought "looks easy to do, I'll just knock it off my list to get it over with". So I read it for just 5 minutes.
Once that was done, I felt great that I had done something productive. I put the same task again on my to-do list.
The next day, I read it again.
The day after, I read it again.
You see where this is going? Completing an easily achievable and quick task makes you feel productive and better about yourself. You are more motivated to keep going and do more tasks.
You have gained positive momentum quickly and easily in just five minutes.
Also, because this task is small, quick and easy, it doesn't seem like much of a hassle to your brain. The effort-reward ratio is tilted in favour of completing the task, so you are actually motivated to complete it and get it over with.
This can be applied to big life dreams that you've always wanted to do.
Want to run a marathon? The mere prospect seems overwhelming. Brain says "no thanks, I'm gonna watch Netflix."
But running from your door to that first lamp post by the corner? Definitely achievable!
Want to become a famous painter, but don't even know how to paint? Ugh, even I feel overwhelmed at the prospect of all the things I have to do.
But opening a new tab on your browser and typing in "how to get started with painting"? Definitely achievable!
This is the secret to gaining positive momentum towards your dreams. As the saying goes, you eat a whale one bite at a time!

A note from Zehra:
For those of you who have completed the Unlimited 40 Day workout, we have a section in the workbook called "3 things I want to do today" and "3 things I want the Universe to help me with". According to the workbook, we put little tasks on the list - usually these are things that are a regular part of our day. In addition, we put the same tasks on the Universe's list to help us with. The end result of getting 3 little things done is to check them off in the workbook, which leads to an increase in self-worth. When we put the same things on the Universe's list to help us with, we will notice a difference: we will get things done faster and better - this leads to an increase in TRUST, and trust is at the basis of all manifesting.
The Unlimited 40 Day Workout runs every 43 days. Will you join us for the next round?
