Be like Lily

Once upon a time in a bustling city, lived a woman named Lily. Despite the city's everyday hustle-bustle, she always carried with her an omnipresent sense of joy and gratitude. She held strong to the belief that being grateful and living in the present was her secret to a happier existence.

Every morning, as she sipped on her coffee, she would take a moment to appreciate the air she breathed. The simple, yet life-giving element that went unnoticed by most. For Lily, even the act of breathing was a blessing.

Her mantra of gratitude was not restricted to mere life-sustaining activities. She reveled in the delight of good food - savoring every bite, taking note of each

flavor that her tongue could sense. She held a deep appreciation for her friends - their hearty laughs, their kind hearts, and their unwavering support. In her world, even work was not a chore but a blessing. It was a platform for her talents, a source of her livelihood and often, a well of inspiration.

What was even more beautiful was that Lily's attitude was not self-contained. It radiated like the sunshine, warming everyone around her. Her infectious spirit of gratitude was a ripple in the pond of life, spreading slowly but surely, touching every life she came across.

Lily was a firm believer in the universal law of attraction. She believed that anyone could experience this bliss by embracing gratitude. "Try it for yourself," she would often say to anyone who seemed burdened by life's challenges. "Find out what floats your gratitude boat," she'd add with a knowing smile.

And on days when the world seemed a bit too much, she would sit in her favorite spot by the window, watching the world rush by and ask herself, "What can I appreciate just now?" Lily knew that there's always something to be grateful for, and remembering this made even her darkest days a little brighter.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all adopt Lily’s perspective? It’s the result of one small question asked over and over again during the day: “what can I appreciate just now?”
