Stop being addicted to your thoughts

Thinking patterns are addictive.
This is not just a idea. It is something we are living every single day without realizing it. The way you think has become a habit, and like any habit, it runs automatically unless you consciously interrupt it.
So if you learned to doubt, you will doubt.
If you learned to question everything until you have proof, then even in your relationships you will say, “I will believe that you love me when you prove it to me.”
And in that moment, there is no trust.
What you may not realize is that the presence of doubt does two things at the same time. It keeps you questioning, and it keeps you from trusting the universe. And when you are in that state, you are holding yourself at the very beginning of the creative process: Step 1, Asking. Step 2 is Trusting and unless you step into trust, manifesting cannot happen.
Now here is where it gets interesting.
Your desire has pulling power. When you want something, you are naturally drawing it towards you. That part is working in your favour.
But when doubt is present, you are also pushing it away.
So now you are pulling and pushing at the same time.
And when those two forces are equal, you don’t move forward. That is what we experience as being stuck. That is what we call struggle.
For some people, the desire becomes so strong that it eventually overpowers the resistance. They do get what they want. But it comes with effort, with strain, struggle and with a sense that everything had to be fought for.
I have seen this up close. I have watched people create their lives through sheer determination, but the journey was not easy. It was not flowing. It was hard-earned every step of the way.
And it does not have to be that way. Learning that is what empowers us, and that is what the Law of Attraction is all about.
Let me explain it the way I experience it.
When I go to visit my daughter in Toronto, she lives in one of those tall buildings that create wind tunnels. And when the wind is strong, it becomes almost impossible to walk normally. You are leaning forward, bracing yourself, holding on, taking one difficult step at a time just to get from the parking lot to the entrance. You fight the wind every step of the way.
You do get there.
But it takes longer. It takes effort. And there is tension and fear in every step.
That is what it feels like to move towards your desires with resistance.
Now imagine the same walk with no wind.
You are not struggling. You are not bracing yourself. You move naturally, and you get there faster. You might even enjoy the walk.
This is what alignment feels like.
Law of Attraction does not say that you cannot get what you want with resistance. You can. But it will feel like that walk against the wind.
When you let go of the beliefs that are creating resistance, when you release the doubt and allow trust to take its place, the journey changes. Not the destination. The journey.
And that matters.
Because why would we choose to live every day feeling like we are hanging on for dear life?
Why would we accept fear as the cost of moving forward?
Having peace in your heart, knowing that things are working out, that should not be unusual - it should be the norm.
This is why we do the work.
This is why we look at our thinking patterns.
This is why we question the beliefs that we have been carrying for years.
Understanding the Law of Attraction is not about controlling life. It is about understanding yourself. It is about knowing how you operate, how your mind responds, and how your beliefs shape your experience.
It is no different than driving a car.
When you know the route, you can avoid the potholes. When you understand your vehicle, you know how fast you can go, how quickly you can stop, and how to navigate with confidence.
And when you have that level of awareness, something shifts.
You are no longer gripping the wheel in fear. You are enjoying driving.
You can even look out the window. You can notice what is around you. You can enjoy the journey.
Most people don’t get to that point because they are too busy holding on to the steering wheel for dear life.
They are so focused on getting through the wind that they don’t even notice the roses along path, let alone stopping to smell them.
And that, more than anything, is why this work matters.
Because you are going to get where you are going.
The real question is: how do you want to get there? And how much time do you want it to take?
Much love,
Zehra
