The Power of Hope in Seeking Guidance

I was afraid of the people who were showing up asking me for advice, because I thought I must be at the same place as them on the emotional scale.

Long ago, when it was early days of my coaching practice, and I had not yet started charging for my time,

​I was afraid that people were coming to me with their problems because they were low on the emotional scale so I must be low on the emotional scale like them.

Abraham gave me a beautiful answer to this question. 

They said, people come to you in a vibration of hope because they can feel that you will be able to guide them and give them the answers that they need to move forward with confidence, because the Universe will always bring those who are asking together with those who can respond to the asking. 

In moments of uncertainty and need, the mindset with which we seek help can significantly impact the outcome. There's a profound difference between asking for help from a place of fear and asking from a place of hope. When we approach our challenges with hope, we open ourselves up to solutions and positive energy, much like those who sought healing from Jesus did so with hope and faith, rather than fear.

Think of the countless individuals who attend workshops by Abraham Hicks, Bashar, or other spiritual guides. They don't attend these workshops fearing that asking questions will make things worse; they go in the hope that they will receive guidance to improve their situations. This is the mindset we should adopt when facing our problems. 
Our vibration impacts who will show up in response to our asking.

This realization gave me the confidence to move forward as a coach. Today, I have the knowing that no matter what the question, I can channel the answer.
