So the test here is, are you living a life that feels happy and satisfied? Because if you are then you are making progress towards the things you want. You know why? Well, because positive thoughts feel happy, and so you know you are spending your thought energy in the right direction.
The key is to stop explaining why things are the way they are, because explanations usually take us towards negative thinking. For example “I am looking for a new job, because I was let go”. Do you really want to keep the “let go” part active in your vibration. Or, “I don’t have enough money because my job doesn’t pay enough”. That statement has two negatives in it. These seemingly little things make a big difference.
When I am coaching, people will say “but Zehra, how will people understand where I’m coming from?” and I say, is other people’s understanding so important that you are willing to compromise your future for it? Think about it. How important is it to you to create a future that looks and feels better than the past. If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting the same results you’ve always got, and you life will keep “feeling” the same as it did before. Ultimately what we are looking for is feeling good. All the things that we want are for one purpose alone and that is that we want to feel happy for the having of them, so reach for the feeling instead of the thing.
