There used to be a time in my life when if someone asked me for a favour or if someone asked me to do something and I did not want to do it, I would make up an excuse in order to get out of it without hurting their feelings. Invariably this involved something I did not want. For example, if I didn’t want to go to a friend’s party, I would say that I wasn’t feeling well. From where I stand today I know that “not feeling well” is not something I want to activate in my life. When we try to explain how we feel and the reasons we do things in a certain way, we open ourselves up to a discussion that leads to pros and cons, and you what cons are, right? Yes, they are negative vibrations, that really do not help us, so why activate them? It never feels good to bend the truth, and alignment is all about feeling good.
Just for today, notice how you have a natural tendency to explain your perspective, and notice if this takes you into the past or up a dark alley of negativity. Ask yourself “how can I say it better?”. With practice you will learn that people only illicit explanations from you when you have a wobble in your vibration. When you vibrate with confidence no one asks you to explain your reasons. So nowadays when a friend asks me to a party I do not wish to go to I say with confidence “Love you very much but sorry, can’t make it this time”.
Just for today when someone says to you “how are you?”, respond by saying “I feel wonderful, I am blessed with many good things”. I bet you’ll find it interesting to note the varied reactions of people around you.
