I love how Abraham explains the story of Martin Luther King - the process of his alignment and what happened when he was shot. A mother comes to the hot seat and asks Abraham to help her tell the story of Martin Luther King for the benefit of her young child, and she want to tell this child the story in a positive, empowered way.

There was a man that you will hear a lot about. His name was Martin Luther King. He was born understanding that things could be so much better than they were. And he, rather at an early age, and after a lot of struggle and living with things that were unjust, he discovered in all of that an idea that was so much bigger and so much brighter, that he gave his undivided attention to that dream. In fact, he became famous for that dream. He gave speeches about that dream. And people gathered from far and wide because they so loved hearing him talk about what was coming. Because in his talking about what was coming, he distracted them from what was. And everyone felt uplifted about it. And as long as he was telling the story to himself and to those who were close - to those who really believed the dream with him, he held himself in vibrational alignment with that dream. And then this dear man, got out there with so many others looking at him, that somehow, some way, he lost sight of his dream momentarily. His stream moved faster and faster and faster and faster, but he was surrounded by those that, he began, even though it was never his plan to do it, to begin to push against. And when one pushes against, in a very fast-moving stream, abrupt things happen. He was shot. He was shot by those who did not understand him, and by those who did not even want to understand him. And, in one Fell Swoop, this man who had conjured and given birth to This Magnificent Dream, re-emerged powerfully into the non-physical where he lives it fully. (Say to your son) I believe that his dream still lives and I believe that no one needs to get shot over it if none of us pushes it in the faces of those who do not understand. It's trying to get others to agree with us about our dreams that causes backlash. But when we just dream them ourselves, when we come into alignment with who we are, the resources of the universe come into alignment with us. And all dreams are answered from all perspectives, no matter who is asking that's the story of this man that I want you always to remember, because there are a lot of versions going on. There are those who are still dreaming the dream. And I know with every fiber of my of my being that that's the way he would want you to hear this story. That was his dream. ~ Abraham ~ It just goes to show that no one can stay in a high flying place forever. Everyone has contrast going on. What is important is what you do when you feel the contrast. Often, my friends who are well-versed with the Law of Attraction will say that they want to feel good. But when you are not feeling good, trying to find a thought that feels good is a very difficult task. What we really need to do is to look for a thought that feels better - just a little bit better, that's all it takes to start the 60 second cycle of attraction. I have heard my friends say, "but Zehra I can't help myself - the negative thoughts just keep coming, and I can't stop them". I want to tell all those who feel that way, that when you reach that point all it means is that you have a lot of momentum going on. That's what makes it harder - harder, not impossible. For you can start from where ever you are and change the direction of your future. Sure it's easier to control the unfolding of events before negative momentum gets started, but remember that it does not matter how much negative momentum is there - we are powerful beings and we have the ability to change things. All that matters is your commitment to yourself - the power of your desire to change things. Sometimes, we let things slide and don't really make a concerted effort until things get massively out of hand (like Anita Moorjani) and even then we can change what happens next (like Anita Moorjani) - so the only advice I want to give you all is take notice and do something about your negative emotion and negative momentum, so that things never get out of control. Believe me it's well worth it.
