Ageing is not about AGE

Have you ever noticed how age doesn't seem to matter as much as we think it does? There are people who look and act so young, not because they're actually young, but because they don't let their age define them. It's true that we've all circled the sun a certain number of times, but that number doesn't have to hold us back.

Some folks believe they're too old for certain things, like finding love or starting a family, even when they're just hitting 40. But age is just a number. I once knew a friend whose 87-year-old mother got married! Age only becomes a barrier when we let it hold us back.

Think about it: have you ever seen someone who looks way older or younger than their age? That's because aging isn't just about how many years you've lived. I had an aunt who was younger than my mom but looked older because of stress and the impact of worry and anxiety causing resistance of energy that she held in her body. Aging is more about how we handle life's challenges. When we're carefree and not worried about the future, we preserve our youth.

So, let go of resistance. It's natural to face challenges, but when we don't hold onto them, our bodies don't store that stress, and aging slows down. Remember, age is just a number, but aging is about how we handle life's ups and downs. Aging is about resistance; age is truly just a number.

As you go about your day, notice the difference between age and aging in people around you. It'll help reinforce what we've talked about.
