I used to feel like a windup toy, that gets wound up and goes round and round in circles until depleted at the end of the day - I don't do that anymore. I am eternally appreciative of Deepak Chopra for helping me to learn how to meditate - I get it now. We can't stop our thoughts, but what we can do is to slip into the gap between our thoughts and go deep within - that is where all meditation is. You see I have learnt that if you look for meditation - you will not find it. Just chill and be still, and let it come to you. It will engulf you when you aren't looking and you will know that you visited that delicious place when you come out of it. I've been teaching meditation for over 12 years now, and I can tell you, the benefits cannot be measured.
