Count Your Blessings

My experience over the past eighteen months with Abraham and the Law of Attraction has been stunningly effective and almost magical in how quickly momentum will pick up on a specific topic I am focused upon. That is how I know that I am a powerful deliberate creator. I am left with no doubt on a very regular basis that “I did that” and I have learned that I do indeed create my own reality.

Lately, I’ve had the experience of seeing many aspects of my life zooming ahead in fast forward, and yet, I find myself doing what every person who visits the “hot seat” does.  Adding in the “But….”  Taking stock of where my life is not yet working.  I know that Abraham will tell me to “look away” or “never speak off that again.” And yet, I have found myself not disciplined enough to let it go.

This video came through loud and clear to me today. I am not sure what was different today, except that I woke up flying high in the vortex, so the answer was finally available to me.  I do understand the idea of distracting and feeling good. Yet, even though I live at the beach, I find that when I use the beach to distract, it becomes yet another source of guilt and negativity and I end up not at all aligned with my action, try as I might to enjoy the natural beauty.
The point that Abraham made in this video was that if only one out of ten things is going well in your life, focus on that one thing that is working and let that vibration lift the grid for all the other aspects of your life.

So today, after listening to this video, I decided to focus on one thing that is working really well for me.  That is my teaching of a movement system called Gyrotonic®. I have been gaining momentum adding new clients and I am teaching people I really like. I feel really good and really confident when I teach. I have been taking lessons from another instructor as well, which fuels me and reminds me of the details of the system that I had forgotten.

So taking this subject and running with it, I began a rampage of appreciation for all the things I love about the system and how good I feel teaching it. I feel knowledgeable, I feel of service, I feel capable, I feel creative and flowing.  I feel connected to source and I feel aligned.  I like sharing a system that few people have experienced before and have no preconceived ideas about.

This rampage reminded me of how fun it was to teach my business partner and then I was off and running. I had another subject to rampage about, the potential for our new business and the latest project we are embarking upon.  Within ten minutes, I had found seven different subjects that I felt really good about in my life. None of them are the subject on which I have been experiencing resistance and that is OK. It felt good to take stock of all the positive things that I have going on and then I realized where the saying “Count your blessings” comes from.  It became so clear!

Even more lovely, almost immediately after this exercise, a light bulb went off and I sourced a new idea to gather momentum in my Gyrotonic ® practice. That momentum translated into several new actions that I felt inspired to take.  And waiting in my inbox, was an offer of project management support for my upcoming project which is off the subject of Gyrotonic ® but was another of my rampage topics, so I have definitely shaken something loose.

Quite literally, if you are wanting relief from resistance, count your blessings.

Thanks for reminding me that we all fall off sometimes - simply focus on that one thing to climb back in again, and enjoy the ride. A blessing indeed!
