Money on two ends of a stick?
Every subject is actually two subjects: the having of it and the not having of it. So it is with money. When you think about money, are most of your thoughts about the joy of having money or is the balance of your thoughts about the feeling of despair in not having enough?
This is a very fine difference. We all want positive results. Most of us think that we are positive. But in truth being positive means coming to the subject of money with a feeling of joy.
I had an “Aha” moment when I realized that this is the reason behind people manifesting more lack when they come to the subject of money from a perspective of lack. It’s the feeling that determines the focus and when you focus on not having, then you create more not having. The feeling of joy about a subject creates more joy about the subject. So if we could find a way of feeling joy or a slightly more positive or better feeling about the subject of money then we would be closer to having it. That’s what Abraham means when they say not to look at reality – they mean not to feel negative emotion while looking at reality, by coming to it from the point of view that reality is in transition, and if we can come to it with a better feeling we move to the positive end of the stick where manifestation of all our desires is possible.
