This story is about my beautiful daughter. She came home one day and told me that she wanted to get the text books for her Japanese class at University during the summer so that she would have the time to prepare for the placement interview and test that would take place in the fall before classes started.
Of course, I thought it was a great idea. It took her a couple of days to find a girl who wanted to sell her text books for the course, and so finally we had the books. She browsed through the books and was disappointed. She said they weren't as good as the books she had used for Japanese before. Mind you, she is a star student, who goes on just an extra mile, but many extra miles!
Then she said from the heart "I wish they would change the books and use ____ (the book she likes). We left it at that, knowing full well that we couldn't really do anything about it.
On Thursday, she had her interview and placement test. I picked her up at the train station - she was so excited, bubbling over. "They changed the text book" she sang. Wow! how amazing is that? Just goes to show anything is possible. Then we spent some time appreciating how things always worked out for us, and how the Law of Attraction works.
