Sometime back I went to a meditation retreat with my friend Rachelle.
I enjoyed the long days spent in groups meditation, but came away feeling that there could have been more of a discussion about techniques to improve our meditation experience as well as how meditation impacts our lives. On our way back Rachelle and I started talking about how wonderful it would be to have a meditation group of our own. It didn't take us very long to start one. It is a big commitment to show up every Tuesday of every week, but it is so totally worth it. On any night we have upwards of 30 people joining us, and just seeing the room fill up is so invigorating for me personally. Even more so, the discussions we have after our meditation are energizing to say the least. It is co-creation at it's best. We recorded our very first meditation session - that was when the meetings were at my home. We meet at the local library now. The snippets from the session are located on the events page next to the meditation poster. Here is the link to the events page.
