Mindfulness means maintaining an awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, and guiding our thoughts to remain positive.
A strong mind enables you to stick to your core beliefs, live in the present moment, and rationally make decisions based on what you think is best, while using your emotions as a guide. Not only does this prevent us from chasing after things we don't have, but it also allows us to truly appreciate what we do have. We slow down, take a look around, and stop worrying about the past or the future and simply enjoy the present moment.
The 7 Principles of Mindful Living

1.Refrain from judging
When you take the time to observe your thoughts and the thoughts of others, it becomes easier to listen without judgement. You can open yourself up to learning more about people and situations, rather than jumping to conclusions based on first impressions. This helps to remain true to alignment.

2.Patience
Craving instant gratification is a part of being human, but it isn't always the wisest thing to do. When we want something immediately, we tend to forget that the only thing preventing it from happening is our own belief system.

3.Being open to new ideas
Another important thing to do is keep the childlike wonder we had when we were younger alive. If we remain open to new beliefs, people, cultures, and ideas, we will be less rigid and less judgemental. Being receptive to new things allows us constantly grow and nurture our mind and body

4.Trust
If you trust your thoughts and intuition, it allows you to stop worrying. Change is always a part of life, but when you have faith in yourself, you will be able to handle it well when called upon.

5.Be satisfied
Breathe in and let go. You are exactly where you need to be, doing precisely what you should be doing.Stop chasing after things that don't truly matter and instead focus on the present moment. Appreciate the beauty in what surrounds you, without feeling the need to make any changes.

6.Acceptance
Accept that you created everything in your life, and it's all okay, because it can all change when you change your thoughts. Accept that you are the creator of you

7.Letting Go
Let go of the past, and let go of your desires for the future. Attachment to the outcome is one of the major roadblocks to satisfaction - preventing you from enjoying today as well as preventing you from creating a better future.

Mindfulness is the path to spirituality; truly living our purpose, and being happy.
