This is what trips most people up with Manifesting

Let’s face it – the reason so many are turning towards the Law of Attraction and trying to understand and use it, is because we all have things we want to manifest.  As I coach people on understanding the fundamentals of the Law of Attraction, I find a common theme active with many which prevents them from getting the results that they want.  I want to take a few minutes of your time with this short article and video clip to show you what trips up most people from becoming powerful manifestors.
It all starts with the emotional scale.

The emotional scale is a simple measure for how good or bad you feel.  When you feel like jumping up and down with joy you’re at an emotional 10, 5 is a place of worry, and 0 is a place of despair about your circumstances.  We access the field of all possibilities based on where we are on the emotional scale.  Anything is possible – but we only have access to those possibilities that line up with our emotional frequency.  So at a 10 we have access to things that will make us jump for joy, at a 5 we only have access to possibilities that will lead to worry and at a 0 we can only have access to events that confirm that we are powerless.

Most people go up and down the emotional scale based on the thoughts they think in response to what is happening around them.  And because we can control our thoughts and reactions we can control our place on the emotional scale and therefore we should be able to control what we manifest.
However, as many already know, an intellectual understanding of the Law of Attraction is not equal to the practical application of it.

With that backdrop in place, let me tell you what trips people up.
Most people have no idea where they are on the emotional scale.  Yes, folks its as simple as that.
You see if you’ve been living life at a 3 on the emotional scale for a very long time, and you do a little bit of focused deliberate thinking which bumps you up to a 4 – the relief you feel in that process feels so good that you think you are at a 10, so you start expecting all the things that have been on hold in your life for a long time to start happening for you – and that’s the kicker.

You look for the manifestation.  If you were really at a 10, you wouldn’t have to look. It would show up.  As Abraham always try to teach us, looking for the manifestation means that you are noticing it absence of it, and as long as you notice the absence of it then it cannot come. 

In summary, what I want to suggest to you is: just keep doing the work without looking for the manifestation of things you want. Do the work because you know that if you keep doing it everything will fall into place, and forget about asking when, and how.

If the things you want haven’t already made their way to you then there can be only one reason for it – you are not where you think you are on the emotional scale and therefore you have work to do.  That work is the same every time: appreciation and meditation.

Just like we don’t ask how fast a child will be able to run when they have only just taken their first step in learning how to walk – don’t keep judging yourself for how fast you can manifest – doing so will only serve to slow you down.
