What is Source?

The words that best resonated with me as an answer to that question were offered by Deepak Chopra.  The said something to the effect that Source was like the ocean and each wave of the ocean was an individual that was born and completed it’s life cycle and then collapsed back into the ocean.  The reason I like that simile is because, all waves are always connected to the ocean and have access to the ocean at all times – they are made of the same stuff as the ocean but each of them has it’s own path to travel and so while each wave has an independent existence it is at the same time part of the ocean.  Each wave is made of many little drops of water, like our bodies are made of cells.  Each drop of water can exist on it’s own, but has greater power when it is part of the ocean.  Water in itself is like source.  It has no resistance.  It flows.

In the clip below Abraham talks about the perspective of Source.  Source is everywhere at the same time, because everything in existence is a part of source.  Therefore Source has perfect knowledge of all existence from the blade of grass to an insect to a pebble.   Everything is made up of matter, and all matter is energy and all energy is source.  Energies of a similar nature, frequency or wavelength band together and become streams of energy.  All thoughts have energy and that is why once a thought is thought it becomes a thought form and never goes away.  It bands with other thoughts of a similar nature.  When many individuals focus on the same thought they give it more energy.  Thoughts that are thought upon by many over a long period of time can become manifest.  My favorite example is all the stuff from Startrek.

Our friends who transition from this world return to Source.  As they become part of Source, they are still individual in that they can have their own point of focus and as part of Source they have access to all other points of focus.  All points of focus cooperate.

When we have faith, we depend upon the ability of Source to find all the cooperate elements to bring us the outcome we desire.  It is wonderful to leave all the work of sifting possibilities to Source.  If we were able to give up our resistant thought patterns we would be able to tap into all the power of Source at a conscious level.  Source is the energy of love.  Love towards all things and all beings.

Contrast serves the purpose of getting us to focus energy, and focusing of energy is what results in growth.  Joy is in wanting and then growing to allow the wanted object.

Coming back to those who have transitioned- from their new vantage point they have perfect knowledge of all they have left behind.  If we allowed ourselves to feel purity of love towards them without the despair of having lost them we would be able to connect with them again.  Like anything else it takes practiced thought.

Practiced thought is nothing more than a communication bridge with Source on that subject.  The more we practice the stronger the bridge becomes.  Our habits of thought surrounding the construction of the bridge determine the degree of our success in being able to allow Source to guide us to the best possible outcome.

Call me crazy – but this to-date is my understanding of how life works!
