Why most people fail...

Let's talk about how splitting our energy between negative and positive thoughts can hinder us from achieving what we want. Going all in means being fully committed, ready to do whatever it takes. Many people say they want things but aren't truly committed to making them happen, because they split their energy as a result of opposing beliefs.

For instance, if I want more money and I believe I should be job hunting, but I don’t want a job, then I need to align my actions with one of those beliefs. As long as we teeter totter from one to the other, we remain stuck.

Each person's journey is unique because of their beliefs. A lot of people want to believe money will magically appear before them, but that's not how it works, because they also ask questions like who and how, and when. Which they wouldn’t do if they truly believed that money could appear magically.
One of the most important things I’ve learnt is that we should not link our expectations to specific people. The universe operates through people, but they're not the source of anything that comes to us. Everything that manifests in our lives is brought to us by the Universe in response to our vibration.

It's vital to understand that people's responses change based on our vibrations because, it’s not them responding – it’s the universe working through them. So it is pointless to make others responsible for our results in life.

Going all in means embracing our beliefs and acting accordingly. We can't go against our beliefs and expect success. And if we want to take action that goes against the grain of our beliefs then we should change our beliefs to match the action we want to take. For example, if my success as a commissioned sales person requires me to make cold calls, but I hate making cold calls, then I should either look for work that does not require cold calling or start liking cold calls. Pick a side and go with it. I see sales people falling into this sort of trap all the time. Recognizing your split energy and understanding your own limitations is a good thing. That way you can either remove the limitation or work within its limits – either choice will bring success. Failure happens when we don’t pick a clear direction.

Kids demonstrate this all-in behaviour when they stay up all night studying for an exam. They sacrifice leisure activities because they operate within the confines of the belief that studying more will lead to success. As a teenager, I made the conscious decision that I did not want to study as much but still wanted to get top grades. I changed my belief about retention so that I could take time off studying and still get the grades I wanted.

Going all in means being willing to do whatever our beliefs dictate.

So, embrace your beliefs and commit fully. Say "hell yes" to going all in and doing whatever it takes. Now, I have an exercise for you: reflect on your beliefs about something you want to achieve. Are your actions aligned with those beliefs? Comment below with your takeaways.
