Have you ever started a project that you never completed?
Do you wonder why?
You were so excited when the idea first came to you, and it was fun getting started, but then it stopped being fun...
Do you see it occasionally or think about it and say to your self "I really should get that done - it would be such a big waste if I didn't"?
Did you ever dream of doing something, but never really get to it, even though you really wanted to, and you really thought it was a good idea?
Did you remind yourself from time to time that you really should get started, and feel bad that you didn't?
I used to be like that.
Abraham has changed me.
I look at things differently now and I do things differently.
I actually dream more and do less now.
I received this little note from PS, who is coaching with me since January this year, and I thought I might share it with a wider audience, because it is a question I get asked quite often when I am coaching.
I have started using an analogy to explain what happens when you feel dis-satisfied with your meditation session, and I find most relate to it quite well - so here it is.
I had so much fun journalling today - I thought I might share what I wrote.
I know that I have shifted my vibration to a higher disc when it flows like this.
Much love and appreciation for you all,
It is only very recent that I have truly started understanding the value of these words offered by Abraham “make a decision and line-up with it”. I have come to understand that this advice is some of the most important teachings given to us by Abraham. Let me explain.
I think it is safe to say that when we are little most of our decisions are made for us by our parents. They tell us when to wake up and when to go to bed. They tell us where to go and what to do. They tell us how to behave with others – they tell us what is appropriate behavior and what is inacceptable. There is no negotiation – it’s mostly their way. What this translates into is that a decision is made by our parents, and now it is up to us to line up with it or not.
This is a story shared by my dear friend Kenneth sometime back. I had promised to share it earlier and then I forgot. Ken reminded me of it today, and it is a wonderful story so I thought I would share it today.
Last week I noticed that a part of the cover of my juicer was broken. The juicer worked very good still, however it let through big chunks of fruits and vegetables without juicing them.
So last Saturday I decided to go to the place I bought it in November last to see whether I could get a spare cover.
This question was sent in by Elizabeth last week. I want to thank her for allowing me to share my correspondence with her here on my blog.
Here is her question and my response .
I'm wondering about the desire to bring forth a certain person into my life. It's a person that I have had contact with, but it is uncertain whether I will meet this person. I would very much like to meet the person, and see what happens, maybe continue to have them in my life, as a friend or any kind of relationship. I feel open about the possibilities as to exactly HOW this person will show up in my life, but I would like them in my reality... I understand that it is not possible to create in someone else's reality, but is it possible to attract a specific person into our lives?
My dear friend Margot, wrote to me asking if there was a correlation between the type of resistance and the manifestation of physical ailments in the human body from an Abraham perspective. I thought I might share my thoughts on this subject with Abe’s followers.
Abraham says that the first place any sort of resistance shows up is in the form of physical discomfort, because you feel emotion in your body.
About two weeks ago I was in a really bad car crash. To give you an idea, suffice it to say that two of the air bags deployed and the car I was driving is toast. It’s gone to the wreckers – and I was sent to the hospital in an ambulance.
How did I create this? Why did I create this? What do I need to fix?
